The Necessity for Gold

All throughout history gold has been a precious and much sought out and loved material.  Gold was probably the very first metal to be mined given the fact it occurs in its native form and because it does not parish and is beautiful. Almost all of the refined gold in the world is in the hands of governments and the central banks in order to give stability to the paper currency, even though we are supposedly no longer on the gold standard anymore. The quantity of gold that is used in industry and arts is increasing though. It is also used a lot for jewelry, besides this it is also used for finishes, dentistry and the properties of gold have allowed it to be used for a number of uses in technology and science. The top coverings of gold do the job of protecting the satellites from extreme heat and corrosion and there are some electrical components and spacecraft circuits that are made out of gold given that they are reliable and precise.
