The mining consists in the start off of the mineral with a truck that takes them to a platform where later a carrying to the tilt trucks is performed through a frontal carrier from which they are taken towards the concentration plant.

In the hard areas we use the drilling and explosion. The perforation through a drill IR CM – 350, with drill bits of 3 ½” of diameter and a depth of 15 m.; the explosion is done with ANFO.

The mineral enters a mill hopper where after water being added through a monitor, it passes through a Trommel (cylindrical rotational Zaranda of perforated metal plate with holes of ½” in diameter).

The classification within the Trommel is helped by high pressure water which comes out through sprays located in the internal part of the Trommel.

The thick material + 3/8” come out from behind of the Trommel towards a mill hopper of thick materials which are evacuated with a locomotive and its wagon to the washer fields of thick material. The fine material – 3/8” enters through the holes of the Trommel to a system of sluices with canals for rifling, where by difference of density they are separated; the gold that remains trapped between the rifles and the heavy sands which are transported by water and evacuated as washings.

The largest amount of gold, especially the thick gold, are gotten in the first layers and the fine ones are found in the back and final part.

The material which is removed from the system of sluices with canals of rifling is concentrated again in a small canal of riflery (ingenious) and amalgamated; this material is after beat in the laboratory, eliminating the heavy sands, obtaining only amalgam; this is refogated in a retort where by distillation the gold and mercury are separated.
