Semi-Mechanized Method (Truck, Tilt Truck, Canals)
The mining is by system of banks, the material is pushed from the top part towards the level of the platform through a truck, after one performs the carrying with the frontal carrier to the tilt trucks which take the mineral to the plant.
The talus of the bank is approximately 80°; in hard areas the perforation and explosions are performed.
The material is dumped out from the tilt trucks to a mill hopper (10 meters of width in the top part and 6 meters in the lower part; length 25 meters, pendent 20°) of perforated plates with holes of 1 ½” of diameter in the top part and 2” in diameter of the lower part. With the help of sprinkles of water at high pressures, of 2 monitors of 6” in diameter, the disjunction and washing of the material begins.
The average relation water/solids is 10/1.
The material minor to the diameter of the holes of the mill hopper passes through 4 canals of riflery (50m long, 1.20 m. wide, 0.60 m. high, pendent 13°) and the pulp is concentrated by difference in weight, the heavy sands are accumulated in the rifles, and the clay is placed on top of the rifles going out towards the two rocky canals (100 m. long, 1.20 m. wide, 0.60 m. high, pendent 6.5%) and after to the washing.
The most part of heavy gold is recuperated in the first layers of canals of riflery and the fine gold in the intermediates and finals and rocky canals.
The material of the riflery canals and of the rocky canals is concentrated (amalgam) in the ingenious; this new material is taken to the laboratory to beat it, the final product is refogated thus obtaining gold.
The material + 2” which does not enter the canals of rifling is picked up and taken to the field of thick materials, operation performed by a frontal carrier and a tilt truck.
