Prospecting in Stream Placers

In many cases people are simply not able to find gold because they do not do enough research on the subject. The problem is also that when people do the research and study up on it often times they find the things that were stated in certain places or books or sites etc, did not necessarily apply to the type of stream these people have available.

Remember that it is not possible to state for sure that just because a deposit of gold was located under a rock that all these types of rocks will have a deposit of gold under them in a stream that is known to be gold bearing and people that have been doing this type of work for a long time will all tell you the same thing. Just because you do not find anything does not mean that you are plainly out of luck. In a lot of cases, people prospect areas that should not have been prospected to begin with. This is mainly due to a failure of understanding the basic concepts of nature.

Just keep in mind that in order to be able to find out where gold could be concentrated in a placer, you will first need to be able to understand the action of the stream as well as how the water flows.

This is highly recommended due to the fact that the flow of water and gases needs to be comprehended to be successful. Almost all the practical rules and mathematics have been created by different tests and comparisons of liquids that have been made. For example, whenever water is restricted in a container that is closed and is not in movement, there are certain principles of science that control its action and these can be foreseen.

When water is not in movement there is no problem with it, however when it starts to flow the problem starts. In channel like canals that are closed, the flow can also be foreseen in a safe way and precisely. On the other hand when water starts to flow in channels that are wide open such as in the case of streams it causes there to be a great amount of variables and only sweeping statements can be made.
