Practices of Benefiting
For the practices of benefitting a homogenous pile was made with approximately 400 kilograms of ground material at less than 1,6mm (10 nets).
Afterwards two alternatives for the process of concentration were studied: gravimetric concentration and flotation.
Gravimetric Concentration in Vibrating Table in the determination of time of grinding necessary to reach the net 65, tests of grinding were executed in different times (20, 30, 40 and 50 minutes) followed by granulometric analysis of the products obtained. In base of these results, the curves of grinding were lifted for the mineral and the time of 22 minutes was chosen for the fragmentation of the mineral.
For the practices of the vibratory table, samples of the mineral (-10 nets) were grinded in a laboratory bar mill, to 80% below the 65 nets, working with the percentage of solids of 60.6%.
Immediately, the sifting to the humid in 150 nets was made, and practicing the material in the vibratory table, with a deck for sand and a deck for lame.
Results Obtained The results obtained were satisfactory, due to the low recuperation of the gold and the silver, both in the table with the deck for the sand as with the table with the deck for lame.
With the vibratory table with deck for the lame, one test was only performed, due to the fact that the very fine material formed great amounts of lame which dragged part of the concentrate to the area of reject, besides the existence of a sulphur with certain natural hidrophobicity, which also was dragged to the area of rejection.
