Pockets and Veins
Looking for and discovering surface “float” is something that can reduce the area you search in a little bit. You should use a medium size search coil when you are looking for float. As soon as you believe you have located a vein, place the biggest coil back and work in a framework pattern. You should set the tuning of your detector to where you are able to constantly hear a slight audible threshold sound and do some extensive sweeps with your search coil. Since the area of response might be a bit ample, you should go over enough area in your sweep to be able to verify the starting and finishing point of the signal. The amount of response from the detector’s signal should allow you to somewhat evaluate the depth the vein has. |
