Plastic Gold Pans
Plastic pans come in different sizes and some consider them to be better for amateurs since you have the option of getting one that is smaller and not hard to work with and they do not weigh as much as the steel ones, which is actually a big advantage. This is actually something to be considered because of all the lifting you are going to have to do during a day of work. Another good thing about plastic pans is that they are made with material that does not get affected by the weather or changes in the temperature, and unlike the metals pans, if you drop a plastic pan it will not dent.
The center or the drop of plastic pans is also more abrupt than the metal pans and this helps to keep the heavier metal inside of it. There are also plastic pans that have riffles that are great at separating the heavier material from the bottom of the sand. Plastic pans have practically taken over the metals ones and are a lot better to work with. The great thing about them is that they are easy to use. In some cases the black color of a pan has a tendency of obscuring the black sands but this does type of background helps the gold to stand out a lot more.
