Objective
To cover the most amount of the surface in the least amount of kilometers, run through in a minimum amount of time which will obtain a cost reduction and obtain the most amount of information with a minimum of work.

Means
Systematic prospection called “strategic” of the courses of water through the recollection of alluvial and geochemical samples in the actual bed.

Methods
Draw out the itinerary that could vary according to the accessibility of the area (maximum of twenty days and 160 kilometers), keeping in mind that the average range in a jungle area for example is of eight kilometers per day.

Take into consideration that:

• Each hydro graphic basin needs to be “covered” at least by the main collector and the affluent.
• Do not leave uncovered areas, in other words slopes where the streams have not been subject to sampling.
• Calculate the extension of the itineraries with a measuring optical instrument and always keep in mind the available time and the number of equipment (to not leave uncovered areas due to a lack of time).
• Study the photo geological maps and if it is possible go over the itineraries over the most important points.
• Mark the sampling points with the foreseen density in the project over a map of 1:50.000 (alluvial and geochemical).

Work plan
Create a plan (according to the calendar) of the work that needs to get done by each team, with the total amount of kilometers they need to go through and the number of alluvial and geochemical samples they need to take. Make the calculus of the needed time to develop the work.
