Hypothetical general geomorphologic characteristics
Our hypothetical river characterises itself by presenting slopes that were made out of gravel up to 10 inches, the drainage of these hills is that of a dentritic. The height of the hills is over 40 meters over the river valley. The gravels show traces of impact which indicates that these have been transported again and that this transport has been violent. Fine gold can be found in thin sheets, which indicates cycles of successive transportation. The classic ones present small cubic cavities, possibly with pyrite, the elements that go along with that are zircon, iron, pieces of cassiterite, topaz etc.

Drainage
The rivers of our hypothetical area drain their waters to another river. The length of the rivers in this area is as follows:

  • River A – 30 Km
  • River B – 30 Km
  • River C – 45 Km
  • River D - 70 Km

Description of the Exploration Method
Given the characteristics of the auriferous deposits we suggest an exploitation of the area by a semi mechanized method using machinery that due to lack of knowledge of the concessionaries are not being utilized. The methodology consists of: The methodology of exploitation consists in:

  • Carrying out friction and drilling in a determined area with the help of a power saw.
  • Bring down, disintegrate and pull the alluvial benches to the treatment plant by means of a front end loader.
  • Pumping water for washing the gravels is necessary at a slope of 60 meters in height with the water pump.
  • For the treatment of auriferous gravel a plant of 300 m3/ per day to more is necessary.

The gold in this area can be amalgamated in a 77 percent and a 10 mesh needs to be worked on it.
