Mining Methods
Manual Method (Monitor, Rocky Canal) The mining consists in the movement of land using a monitor, the topography of the land consists in a dorsal which ends in a cliff with 80°-90° of inclination and a height of 30 meters.
The material in hard areas is perforated naturally and exploded with ANFO.
Having the material moved, the monitor fulfills the function of destroying it and exploding it taking advantage of the pressure and amount of water which comes out of this and transport it towards the rocky canals.
The water required by the monitor comes from the cornered lagoon, from which it is channeled to a reservoir and from this through tubing until the monitor with natural pressure.
The installment and operation of the monitor must be done at a certain distance from the mining to avoid that the falling of rocks would affect the operator and the installations.
After operating for a determined time, you remove the rocks from the canal and you remove the material obtained, it is after beat obtaining the gold.
