Manual Methods of Sampling
a) Integral Method. This method consists in extracting manually, separately, all the volume of the material in each differentiated horizon or by layers of 1.00 m. of thickness, classifying them in overcharging, superior and inferior gravel, and the number of sampling belonging to each layer, in progressive function of the depth which is being reached. This method is more recommendable even though it is laborious, because it allows to give it more support and trust to the result of the sampling, being that it is much more representative and real in volume. Besides, with this information we can elaborate the geological column and of values of alluvial deposit.
b) Canal Method. Once one of the walls of the well is prepared as vertically as possible, you proceed to remove the sampling through this method, which recommended section is of 25 x 25 cm. due to the variable potency of the well.
The samples are extracted by layers which constitute a lythological horizon, be it by the type of material, pelletmetry of the gravel, coloring, etc. Immediately you proceed to beat the samples, according to its proceedings, until they Are Reduced to concentrates or sands for the appropriate counting of the number of gold particles ands after register them according to the table of colors.
