Littoral or Marine Alluviums
The fluvial beds and/or alluvial are the type of placing deposits which are most important in the world. It is subdivided in:
Littoral or Marine Alluviums They are those deposits which are situated in the coasts of the sea. There are such old ones that in this present time they are found elevated in the form of banks. Also called placing, they are shaped due to the dashing of waves, where the jump and the hang drag the lower weight particles, concentrating the heavier ones which come from the marine coast terraces and of the rivers. These can be submerged and in the deep sea.
Buried or Fossilized Alluviums They are the ones which have been covered by newer formations and by lava currents which have buried gravels of placing until considerable depths.
Auriferous Conglomerates They are cemented alluviums, also called cemented gravels, due to the fact that they are consolidated of the auriferous gravels in a conglomerate.
