Gold Project
This project entered into operation some 18 years ago in September, being in the moment of the final phase of mounting. The rejection of the gravimetry was classified in hydroclones for cort 100/150, the underflow being grinded in a windmill of balls in closed circuit. The overflow of the classification was floated in the rougher, in the cells developed by the PMC.
The concentrate, barely for the adequacy of its percentage of solids, passed by a stage of cleaner in conventional cells. The concentrate of these cells was pumped for the cyanidation pumps of the plant of lixiviation of the primary mineral, which simultaneously entered into operation using the Merril Crowe process.
Thew tenor of the primary mineral for the process of cyanidation was the order of 10g. of gold per tonneage. The tenor of ultrafine concentrate had to be with a mininmum of 10 and a maximum of 40 g/t.
From what is exposed, one can conclude that the process of flotation without weakening in the future processing of the concentrate was a possible alternative, and many a time was more adequate for the ultrafine gold.
