Gold Mining Ownership

In 1974, a bill in which it was legal for an individual to become owner of the gold again and that he could buy and sell the mineral in the open market was presented before the congress. With a fixed gold exchange rate finally removed the value of exchange in gold currency sky-rocketed. Consequently, a great amount of mines that had been closed during many years in the present   have been re-opened and have started to generate large benefits. Many areas that were not viable to exploit nowadays can be exploited by individuals with excellent returns.

In relation to removing lands and gold-recovering methods have made great progress in equipment and technologies in comparison to the techniques used 100 years ago; especially, in these past 40 years, time in which this field of activity has been asleep. Nowadays it is possible for each individual to process 10 or up to 100 cubic yards of materials that carry gold, while in the old times and in similar areas it would have taken much more time to process the same amount of mineral.

Currently, provisions and equipment are easily found and at relatively low prices in comparison to those in the old times, that is, if able to find all what they needed. Before, it was many times necessary for the miners to carry, pull and climb all the equipment and provisions across very hazardous terrains. Likewise, they many times also had to hunt their meals and fight against the Indians, while trying to locate and dig reasonable amounts of gold to cover their expenses. Now, there are highways, roads and paths that were built surrounding the gold mining areas in the country and that go pass or at least get near those same places in which old time miners used to look for gold and that for them it would have meant weeks or months to reach with all their gear and provisions.

A great amount of natural and man-caused erosion has taken place in the last 100 years, what has caused huge volumes of new gold to be spilled in rivers and creeks. This is made evident by the many valuable deposits that have been found by miners of 49 or of those who followed.

Yes, miners of ´49 found the easiest and richest deposits of gold, and . . . God, they were rich deposits! How could they avoid it when people were walking on and tripping with gold nuggets that were simply lying on the shores of creeks? However, many of these deposits that were exploited by early miners: Early miners were those that were visibly exposed in those times. But in no way did they find the entire trouble-free deposits because new ones are being found while I write.
