Gold Industrialization

The present industry preponderantly uses the personal ability which is supported by advanced technical knowledge, modern equipment and installations, and a strong work capital. Produces and exports hundreds of different products of jewelry to the American market, the most competitive in the world.

The products which are produced and exported in their totality are of little known characteristics in the national market, in general they are extremely light, designed for a low volumetric density, with unitary pieces produced in series of tens of thousands.

The main product is the chain chord, which is similar to a rope built in base of rings of diameters between 1 to 2 milimeters, sewn by hand around alarms which are removed after welding the basic elements. Following, this chain is fabricated in very fine caliber’s where a foot of length weighs less than three grams up to callibers that can get to the weight of 9 or 10 grams per foot. The most important characteristic is its great volume in relation to the weight, the brightness which reaches infinity of facets and its total flexibility. The chord chain is also base of multiple types of bracelets, earrings, etc.

The Industry in Recent Years & at Present
The modern industry was born between 1982 -83, finally, it were two businesses which evolved to products of high quality with technical support, equipment and Italian and American marketing.

By 1984, there were four the companies which exported similar products.

With the establishment of types of different change, the lack of supply was produced, when part of the offer disappeared of prime matter (all the old plate), to a parallel market, at the price of free gold. On the meantime, the auriferous mine production was still exporting integrally.

It is from 1985 that the industry began to work in its most part with gold of mines even though the prices and commisions of 5% and 10% above the international price of the mining bank. It is estimated in the present investments in fixed actives of the order of US$ 20 million, the stocks of prime matter and products has an approximate value of 10 million dollars.
