Concentrating Shaking Tables

If you look at the screen material from the tumbler as it approach off the end of the concentrating table it will be seen that the quartz and other lighter materials are left off at the base of the table in the upper part of this iron band we will see some chips of gold assorted with the iron, and the top of the iron band we will see a thin band of gold. The iron band is split under the area where the gold particles are assorted with the iron to make sure that all the gold is keep. Material under this line is unnecessary, and is called the “tail”. Material over this point is keep and named the “contemplate” or “con”. Thus, with the help of the table, almost all of the quartz, feldspar and so forth, and most of the black iron, have been removed. The base should have all the gold composed on the rag plant, and only a small fraction of the iron collected. If the table concentrate is look carefully, small sum of essences other than gold and iron will be found. These may contain zircon, lead, and other serious essences. The follow step is to dry all of the table concentrates in training for the magnetic division The main dirty in the concentrate is now black or magnetic iron .The magnetic division ,as the name involve, is used to dived magnetic essences from non-magnetic essences. Gold is not magnetic. Black iron is magnetic. Most of the magnetic iron will be divided out of the concentrate on the magnetic division.
