Finding gold nuggets

If you have already invested in getting a good metal detector, and are well equipped with a good pair of headphones, a digging pouch etc. it is now time to go and find those gold nuggets. However, how exactly do detectors find gold nuggets? Where do you start out? When searching for gold with a gold detector it feels as if the small gold nugget moves around in the ground when a prospector is trying to find it and being able to get to it is what needs to be practiced. There are some gold prospectors that use a little plastic cup on top of the area that has been detected while others pour some dirt on the top of the loop.

Where to place the findings of the day
After having successfully found a small or big size gold nugget, it is important to have a good place to place and keep it in. There are diverse types of containers that can be used but a very good one is the 35 mm one given that it has a good opening. One thing that is suggested when searching for a container for the gold, is to stay away from the glass ones; there is simply too much of a possibility of them breaking and the chances of losing the findings of the day are a lot higher. Obviously if a bigger sized gold nugget or piece that is found is very big, the prospector can just place it in his pocket, but the smaller ones will be safer inside a plastic container.
