Feasibility of Process Application

Base: 100 t/day

Feeding of the Plant

  • - Pulp of concentrates of 55% of solids – underflow of the thickener.
  • - At grinders of balls in closed circuits with a cyclone.
  • - Overflow of cyclone, 20% of solids at tanks of biolixiviation

Circuit of Biolixiviation

- 8 tanks disposed in two modules.

Stage I: four tanks, 48 hours of time of retaining.

Stages II and III: two tanks in series c/module, 24 hours of time of retaining.

  • - Injection of air.
  • - Cooling serpentines.

Treatment of Products of Lixiviation

  • - Residues of lixiviation (73 t/d) – sediment at pulp 50% solids.
  • - Neutralization of pulp, 4 tanks in series, 10 hours of time in retaining.

A pH 4.0 with suspention of Caliza

A pH 10.5 with lime milk.

  • - Filtering: the cake passes to cyanidation.

Neutralization of the Solution of Biolixiviation

- Overflow of thickener is neutralized in two stages, 4 tanks.

 - The second washing of metals (89 t/d) sediment at 52.5% of solids.

Underflow at a field of second washing of metals.

Overflow to circuit of grinding and preparation of solution of neutralization.

Heat Balances
Take into account the conditions of summer and winter (humidity, air, temperature, tanks of lixiviation, entering of heat, loss of heat, etc.).

Estimates of Capital Costs
- Total direct cost, size of the plant: 50, 100, 200 t/d, etc.

Estimates of Operation Costs
- Reactives, work, supply, force, etc.
