Mineralization Characteristics
the mineralization is contained under the form of particles, making it possible to reach a dimension of 4 m, in the horizons of hardened sit  and dolomite, rare sulphurs (estibine, galene, pyrite) accompany the gold, thus as the minerals of alteration (iron oxides, clay and sericite).

Treatment Characteristics
After the underground extraction, the mineral is transported in a day by truck, shredding to 76mm., after disposed in piles of 11,000 tons (4,6 m. x 4,6 m. of surface; 1,5 m. in height) above an area which is prepared for a good drainage.

The piles are sprinkled by the cyanide solution 10 to 16 hour per day, at the rhythm of 0,12 1/min/m2.

The solutions which come from each pile are provisioned separately and the recuperation of gold is effectuated in one unit of columns of absorption-desorption, the gold is separated by electrolisis over the cathodes which are immediately refined by fusion.

According to the type of mineral, the recuperation varies between 70% and 90% for a lasting of lixiviation of various weeks. These efficiencies which are very high explain, in part, the election of the cyanidation in pile, always with the exploitation of the mine to be underground.
