Distribution of the Itineraries Per Team

Each team chief will report a copy of the topographic map on a scale of 1:50.000 his own itineraries and will let the chief of the team know which the specific points he is interested in studying are.

Carrying out of the itineraries
A good prospector will be able to cover a range of around 8 kilometres and obtain around three to four alluvial samples per day depending on the area. The carriers of every team will need to transport the material of the field, prospecting equipment and the rations of goods. The chief of the team will need to write notes of all of the observations related to the sampling point, petrographic, changes of features, outcroppings etc, on the field booklet and then on the map.

Active stream bed sampling technique
In template countries and in most of the tropical countries that have mountainous areas, the gravel of the actual stream beds is easily accessible. Either way the samples can be used also be found on the riverside on the terrace.

Equal distance of the sampling or density in Km2
The equidistance that varies between 1kilometer and 500 meters, as well as the density of 1 to 5 samples/km2, is determined before the start up of the campaign in function to the regional geological context and the type of existing hydrographical reticle.
