Cubication of Minerals in Irregular Bodies of Placers

Sampling intervals
Some time ago, engineers published the norms of cubication of the minerals in tabular or veined bodies, which is the general application, but this publication does not contain that which refers to the cubication of minerals in irregular bodies, the placing and open stalls; to which, below you will find the principles which are usual in these cases

Blocking of Irregular Bodies
A rule which is slightly modified is adopted, in which it establishes that for each area of economic mineralization known, one must take a determined height of block in the sense of the tendency of the mineralization. This rule is more conservative than the rule of estimation of reserves in veins, due to the fact that the controls of mineralization of the irregular mineralized bodies are less predictable. The rule that must be applied if the controls of mineralization are unknown is as follows:

The extension of the mineralization in height or in depth, for the effects of blocking of the mineral, will always follow the convergent tendency of the limits or the orthogonal projection of the known mineralized area.
