Certain detectors do not have a loud audio response to signals that are deeper inside the ground and additional accessories can help to make them the right type of volume in the audio. Remember also that different people hear differently therefore it is better to use the headphone and detector that works best for you before purchasing it. A good set of headphones can be a good investment because they will help tremendously in prospecting with a detector.
