Auriferous Operations

The purpose of this job is to be able to resume the experience and knowledge about auriferous exploitation in certain areas that have certain characteristics. The objective of this is to take better advantage of these areas. The characteristic of this deposit is its low content of gold, which shows itself to be scattered around the area; the size and the shape of the particles is very diverse; the concentration is gravimetric, and riffled channels are utilized due to their low cost of investment and since they are easy to use, these equipments have a low capacity and low performance, and even more so for the smaller and finer particles that are 0.074 mm. The interest for this auriferous area increased in the last years; there are additionally other suction pumps for dredging of auriferous material. Exploration and exploitation has not been very much, which means that developing this is of primordial importance. Easy access, the laws obtained in the sampling and the enough water for the washing of auriferous material are advantages that need to be taken advantage of. The current economic crisis and high cost of gold allow this type of mining exploitation to be done and it can transform turning new technologies in future midsize mines.

Location and access
The exploitation operations are located in different areas that have an altitude above sea level that is somewhere around 500 meters. The climate corresponds to a humid warm type and the region is predominately made up of a jungle type of area, has an exuberant amount of vegetation and part of it is covered in fruit and coffee cultivations.
